As of November 23rd the Postal Service required that all mailing lists utilize the National Change of Address System (NCOA) to reduce undeliverable mail. Kelmscott can provide this service.
What does this means to you? Lists used to send Standard Mail (letters, flats, parcels and not-flat machinables) and automation-rate and presort-rate First Class Mail are now required to have a "Processing Authorization Form" on file with your mailer to take advantage of these lower rates. All mailing lists must use NCOA EVERY 95 days.
While this change requires new steps and additional expenses for your mailing lists, we believe not having to pay for undeliverable mail is a positive move from both an environmental and cost perspective. You can contact our Mail Specialist at Kelmscott, Cheryl Symmonds, or your sales representative to discuss your needs in meeting these requirements and to get a copy of the USPS Form 6014.
Also to help you on your mailing projects we are offering a quick reference tool designed to provide you with estimated postage costs. To get our "Postal Cheat Sheet," just ask your sales representative to request additional information.
